Running out of excuses

So if you’ve ever read my about page you know that at one point in my life (aka before kids) I really liked running. Like three marathons a year kind of running.

However, having four kids in six years really kind of put a dent in my devotion.

Until recently. When I literally ran out of excuses.

The baby loves sitting in the stroller.

The twins are in preschool for three hours every morning.

And one of the sweetest mom friends I have is in a running group for moms.

So here I am. Running again.

Is there anything you’ve been meaning to get back into? Since having kids? getting married? Coming to your senses?

    Yoga. It benefits me so much and yet, I keep letting it go only to reconnect with it and think, why do I keep stopping this? I’m glad you’re back to something you enjoy.

    Love yoga too. But keeping to a schedule and spending the extra money just doesn’t work out for me.

    Oh this so wonderful!! I have been wanting to get back into painting/drawing and I tried but I just can’t make it stick… I guess when the twins start school in September it may be easier :D
    Glad to see that you are running again.
