It’s Monday once again and time to fess up to all the things I would never do. Let alone admit to doing here in public.

I watched my two year old at the park as a seemingly three year old boy tried to bully him multiple times into not touching the play equipment. When finally I decided to make contact with this kid’s parental figure, I hear the biggest roar imaginable escaping from my little guys mouth as he grabs the bigger kids shirt and pulls him in close just make sure the message is clear. Instantly resulting in big kid tears. I of course did not laugh out loud! No mother interested in being a role model would even dream of doing that!

After spending two painful hours at the public wading pool (a story you can read in its entirety here) complete with timeouts tantrums and a bee-sting. I did not lock my two year old daughter in the car unrestrained so that I could catch her twin brother who was taking off down the hillside after a pack of rowdy big kids.

And last but not least I did not provide the water for my daughter to make mud pies. And then tell her older brother who had never discovered this art form before to,”go check out what she was doing.”
