As a mom of four I have to be honest I kind of avoid certain things like themes parks with long lines. Especially, where rides are age specific and kids range from daring to difficult. Waiting hours for a few minutes of unbridled excitement just
seems too much like torture doesn’t do it for me.
We were lucky enough to be invited to attend a day at Knott’s Berry Farm Camp Spooky. By no small miracle, we had no soccer games that day and just enough time to fit it in before an evening birthday party.
And by “WE” I mean Mom, Dad, a dare devil eight year old, two six year olds, and a three year old. Very little pleases this entire crowd at once. Except for Knott’s, of course.
The daredevil got to ride roller coasters, the little ones got to ride kiddie rides, and even the three yr old had a great time. Some rides she could ride alone, and others she just needed to ride along with a grown up. Even the log ride worked out for all six of us!
In just five hours, we were able to get through breakfast, magic potions, costume parade, six plus kiddie rides, two crazy big roller coasters, a monster show, lunch, more magic potions, and the log ride.
Utterly twice as much as I’ve been able to accomplish in two days at other themes parks. Wink, wink…
And at half the price! Knott’s Berry Farm tickets start around 40$.
In addition, payment plans are available for Knott”s Berry Farm season passes and meal plans as well.
I could go on but I think it suffices to say this mama gives Knott’s Berry Farm two thumbs up for short lines, lots of age appropriate rides all the way down to the tree year old and a price that does not break the bank!
If you’re looking for a high flying good time, this si definitely the place!
Disclaimer: I was furnished tickets to Knott’e Berry Farm Camp Spooky for the day. But, that in now way affects my opinions. I don’t have the time to waste on making this stuff up. My opinions are genuine.
