So, It’s summer time and the kids are home. All day long.

And if you hear the theme song to Dora or Yo Gabba Gabba one more time you might scream.

In fact you caught yourself singing yourself to sleep with one of these tunes just last night?

Ok. Maybe that’s just me. Yet, I have the perfect solution! The album “It’s Love” by Ellen and Matt. A hip, fun, and completely not sanity depleting kids band.

How do I know? My kids started dancing the minute they heard it.

No seriously, a few of the songs have already been memorized. And these lyrics? Not your typical kids bop tunes. Really cute stories behind the words. Which as a teacher I really like because I believe it encourages kids to listen to what is being said.
