Blue sky calendars and back to school chaos.

Blue sky calendars and back to school chaos.

Now, I have to admit I have never really been a write it on the calendar kind of person.

In fact I have been known to forget to turn the page for an entire month on more than one occasion.

But, I’m thinking this is going to be my year to turn over a new leaf in the calendar department of my life. For no reason other than the fact that I currently have three kids in school for the first time ever. And each of them comes with their own set of dates and appointments to remember. There is just no way I am going to be able to coordinate all of that without putting pen to paper.

But have no fear! There is a solution. It does not cost much. And it is available at TARGET! One of the few places I can actually shop with four small children without major disaster striking.

The people at Blue Sky have developed a line of paper products that will make organizing your school year SO much easier.

In their own words:
Blue Sky developed the Home Series based on the feedback of real-life moms, who gave a sneak peek into their daily lives and provided insight into the organizational solutions they wanted. Extensive in-home interviews with moms helped us understand their needs and how we can help,” says Karen Muller, Marketing Manager at Blue Sky and a mother herself. “They want dated calendars, easy-to-use layouts, durable construction and plenty of choices so they can choose products for their individual needs. They want simple yet sophisticated design they can display in their homes.”

The Blue Sky Home Series offers 14 different products, all under $10. Several large monthly dated calendars allow consumers to choose one that works best for them. The collection also offers a range of dated planners and fun, functional organizing extras, including the compact Shopping Planner, playful Door Notes and handy Note Tote. The Blue Sky Home Series comes in two color palettes, “Warm” and “Cool,” to complement home décor, and ranges in price from $3.99 to $9.99.

There are all kinds of handy items to choose from. Anything from a full-sized date book to a mousepad/notepad for working on reminding yourself of projects at various stages.

And fortunately, they want to share a set with you, one of my lovely readers.

I just love to write down my appointments or things I have to-to. I find that writing it on paper keeps me more focused. I do have several to-do lists on my phone, but since I get destracted easily, that never works out.

Oh as for not turing the calendar page, I’m guilty as charged as well. The calendar in my bedroom still says May–I’ll change it soon.

I’ve become so disorganized since I became a mom. I keep trying new systems but nothing works. I would love to try something new!

    I’m also a fan on FB. :)

    Love me some organization! Thanks!

  5. I’ve been going nuts. 2 in K; 2 at home, 1 of which has a ton of doc appts in the next few months; all 4 in weekly Mandarin classes (of all things); hubby on super weird random overtime projects; 3 different twins clubs’ events (on the Board for 2 of them); PTA; social life; a patheticly sparse blog; consulting business and a job… and no nanny.

Forget the calendar. Enter me in a contest to have a personal assistant follow me around.
